Downtown Fernandina Historical Walking Tour

About this activity

Explore the historical residential golden years of the 19 century homes.

Hear stories about some of our islands characters, the good, bad, and ugly.

Hear the stories of fearless pirates, adventurers, mercenaries, native Americans warriors, run away slaves, rum runners, and more.

Our tour hopes to bring you to a magical land of the past. A place where the struggle was real along with reward of resilience.

An island that was named after a princess, a town named after a king. An island that was occupied eight different times under eight flags.

Put on your walking shoes, grab a bottle of water and let's go on a walk down memory lane to a forgotten time, remembered by few.
