Fredericksburg Halloween Ghost Tour with Exclusive Masonic Access

Go beyond the usual ghost walk this Halloween season with exclusive access to Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge No. 4 and the private Masonic Cemetery—two historic sites normally closed to the public. Follow your lantern-carrying guide through downtown Fredericksburg for a special seasonal route featuring all-new cemetery stories and haunted stops that differ from our regular Ghost Tour.

The evening also includes after-hours entry into Amy Lou’s Apothecary, in a building that served as a Civil War hospital. Hear chilling stories rooted in historic records, eyewitness accounts, and generations of local lore. A portion of every ticket supports the restoration and preservation of the Masonic Lodge and cemetery.

Itinerary

1. Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge No.4 · 20 min

   Step inside Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge No. 4 for exclusive access to this historic site, normally closed to the public. Your guide will share ghost stories connected to the lodge and its long history, setting the stage for an evening exploring Fredericksburg’s haunted past.

2. Old Masonic Cemetery · 15 min

   Enter the private Old Masonic Cemetery, normally closed to the public, for all-new ghost stories created for our Halloween route. Among the historic gravestones, your guide will share chilling tales rooted in historic records, eyewitness accounts, and local lore. These stories differ from those featured on our regular Ghost Tour.

3. Mary Washington House · 15 min

   Stop outside the Mary Washington House as your guide shares ghost stories and local legends connected to this historic home. Hear tales of Fredericksburg’s haunted past while viewing the house from the sidewalk. This stop does not include entry into the house.

4. Stop 4 · 15 min

   Stop outside the Ironclad Inn, a historic home now operating as a hotel, as your guide shares ghost stories and local lore connected to the property. View the building from outside while hearing about its haunted past. .

5. Stop 5 · 15 min

   Step inside Amy Lou’s Apothecary for special after-hours access to a building that served as a hospital during the Civil War. Your guide will share ghost stories connected to its past as you experience the historic interior, normally closed at this hour.
