This tour brings together two iconic Vermont features - craft beer and covered bridges. The pace is relaxing and easy going, with minimal walking required. Enjoy Vermont beer with a built-in designated driver!

We'll travel in a built-for-back roads Bronco, with a (weather permitting) top-down, open air experience you won't soon forget! As much as possible, we keep off the main routes and stick to dirt roads where traffic doesn't exist, the scenery is breathtaking, and hidden views abound. There will be plenty of opportunities to pause and take it all in!

We'll stop at Long Trail and Harpoon but will tailor the route before, between and after to your preferences... some examples of what we suggest are provided for you. Just reach out after you book with any requests!

Itinerary

1. Long Trail Brewing Company · 60 min

   Nestled along Vermont’s Ottauquechee River, Long Trail Brewing Company offers an inviting mix of craft beer, great food, and scenic charm. Sip on their flagship Long Trail Ale or explore a flight of hoppy IPAs, stouts, and seasonal brews. Not a beer fan? Try their house-made root beer. Pair your drink with elevated pub fare like burgers, sandwiches, and pretzels. Relax in the riverside beer garden or cozy indoor spaces. Friendly service, fresh flavors, and Vermont vibes make this stop unforgettable!

2. Harpoon Brewery · 60 min

   Located in Windsor, VT, Harpoon Brewery is the perfect destination for craft beer and cider lovers. Sample their iconic IPA, seasonal brews, and unique limited releases with a curated flight. Pair your drink with pub favorites like giant pretzels with beer cheese, hearty sandwiches, and flatbreads. Friendly vibes, delicious food, and creative brews make this a must-visit spot!

3. Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge · 15 min

   One of the longest covered bridges in the world - we will drive through it and stop for photos here, along with other covered bridges on our route.

4. Brownsville · pass by

   We'll explore back roads well off the beaten path and check out some amazing views of Mount Ascutney in Brownsville and West Windsor, Vermont.

5. Reading · pass by

   A gorgeous small town with many miles of dirt roads and amazing views! We'll enjoy nature at its best as we make our way through Reading, Vermont.

6. Plymouth · pass by

   Another beautiful area to enjoy as we travel along on our tour. More dirt roads, pretty lakes, and nature abound here! We can add in optional stops at Plymouth Cheese or the Calvin Coolidge Homestead, just let us know!

7. Woodstock · 60 min

   The quintessential Vermont town! Depending on your preferences, we can take a long or short pause here. With shops and art galleries and plenty of photo opps, Woodstock is a perfect place to enjoy any day!

8. Lincoln Covered Bridge · 30 min

   One of MANY covered bridges we'll drive through, stop to photograph and enjoy. This is a fairly well-known one, but I include bridges you won't find on any 'top 10' lists... they're quiet and off the beaten path, often allowing you to walk in, around and even under them!
