Every encouragement is given, also, to enjoying their wines in the truly splendid lawns surrounding the historic Landmark Ruins of Thomas Jefferson's mansion for Governor James Barbour, a pleasant stroll away.

2. Early Mountain Vineyards · 150 min

   With a strong commitment to the vineyard as well as a fervent expression of place, Early Mountain crafts high-quality wines and leads Virginia’s ascent as a renowned wine region. Winemaker Maya Hood White and her talented team listen to what the vine, soil, and climate tell them to craft exceptional wines that celebrate the best the land offers. Complementing their wines is an elevated hospitality experience. With artful precision, Chef Tim Moore and Chef de Cuisine Kristen Hall transform the bounty of local farms into seasonal dishes that harmonize beautifully with our expressive wines.
