Provider's site description, as published: Our dedicated Overlanding Sites are designed for guests seeking a rugged, vehicle‑supported camping experience in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nestled in the mountains, these drive-in sites are as level as the terrain allows — and each includes a picnic table, fire ring, and parking directly at your site. Located on our adjacent tent‑campus property (Primitive Campground). The Primitive Bathhouse is currently closed for repairs. The Main Bathhouse on the primary campus is available (Hot showers and flushing toilets about a four-minute walk away. Bathhouse parking also available.) Overlanding sites are primitive and do not include electricity or hookups. A water spigot is available at the Primitive Bathhouse. Overlanding sites are also suitable and permitted for tent camping (3/4in gravel in Overlanding sites 2 & 9. Overlanding 3 has pea gravel and 3/4in gravel with a slope for drainage.) Please check in at the Camp Store on the main campus. No check‑ins are allowed after 9 PM.

How booking and saving work

You finish booking on the park's reservation website (campspot.com). Adding a site to your trip saves it, with your dates, so you can compare and come back; it doesn't reserve anything. Book the campsite, RV and activities separately with each provider.

Does a length limit mean my RV fits?

No. It means your RV is within the listed length limit. Slide-out room, turning clearance and overhanging trees aren't published; ask the park if you're close to the limit.
