Find your escape with a Cascade Camper, converted from a RAM Promaster City compact van. This campervan is small, but versatile, embracing a minimalist approach that allows you to focus on your adventure. It fits almost anywhere and gets great mileage, up to 28 mpg highway. It can be a safe pod for roadtrips, a base camp for hiking/biking/paddling, a platform for a personalized brewery/winery tour, or the venue for a quiet break in the outdoors away from phones and news. No hookups necessary thanks to the roof-mounted solar panel, house battery, and 5-gallon water tank. This van is equally comfortable at a tent camping site, an RV site, or a friend's driveway. The comfortable bench folds flat into a cozy bed, and the kitchen sports an electric sink with 5 gallon fresh water tank, portable cook stove, and a cooler/freezer that will keep your beverages and provisions cool. A ventilation fan keeps the air moving, and adjustable LED lighting provides plenty of illumination at night. Five under-bench storage bins are stocked with camping essentials, so you do not have to worry about the basics (see details below). The rental includes drop-off and pick up of the van at the Huntington Metro south of Alexandria. Other hand-over locations can be requested for an additional fee. What's included The rental includes bedding, or bring your own sleeping bags. Two REI Camp Boss chairs and a collapsible table are stored behind the couch/bed. Ask about available bike rack, cold weather package, and Cleanwaste portable toilet to customize your experience. Bin 1: Firestarter logs, matches, camp stove fuel refills, head lamps; french press; scrub pads, marshmallow sticks Bin 2: Enamel plates, bowls, and mugs for 2; insulated wine tumblers and glasses; utensil sets for 2; cooking bowl, pan, and kettle ; utensils and spatulas Bin 3: Guest storage Bin 4: Guest storage Bin 5: 2 x Rumpl-style lightweight down alternative blankets Undersink storage holds basic provisions, including oatmeal packets, hot drink options (tea, hot chocolate, instant coffee) and basic seasonings. Other things to note A few additional notes and considerations: - Please include your age at the time of booking when you send initial correspondence, as there are insurance implications through this platform. - Although the van is pet friendly, it also has its physical limitations. The campervan will not accommodate cats, and as a general rule, we welcome one dog, but are open to discussion based on size, breed, and age of the animal(s). We believe in pet safety and very highly recommend a safety harness or small pet crate for your four-footed friend.

  Great little camper minivan. We used it to road trip from Virginia to Austin TX for the Grand Prix of the Americas. The little ram drives great on the interstate and is pretty good on gas at speed and great economy in town. The fridge kept all of our food cool and the bed slept better than expected. We put 3000 miles on this van in a week and it performed flawlessly.

  Perfect size van! Easy to drive (compared to the larger ProMaster vans). The van was super clean and everything worked perfectly! Justin was also great to work with. Will definitely rent from him again!
