About this RV

Poppy is our 2020 Ram 2500 ProMaster van. It is a custom-made van. Equipped with an RV Queen sized bed, sink and faucet (water is dispensed with a foot pump), portable gas stove for indoor or outdoor cooking, swivel seats, and has tons of storage space in the "garage" area. Poppy has a heating system for those cold desert nights. She also comes with plenty of table surface area for food prep (the tables were upcycled from our old kitchen table). A high end battery bank allows for many nights off-grid and will recharge while driving. And - we maximized the space so there is plenty of room for two people to move around! We will refund the delivery charge if we meet you at the St. George Regional Airport. We require the middle or highest insurance policy for this rental (the "Preferred" or "Peace of Mind" insurance package). If you select the lowest insurance policy, I will cancel the reservation. Recommendations Excellent places to camp that are nearby: Zion National Park, Snow Canyon State Park, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Jacob Lake, Red Cliffs, Pine Valley Recreation Area. For reservation-only campgrounds on federally managed lands, download the Recreation.gov app. It's one of our favorite apps to use for camping! Other things to note Secondary roads (well graded gravel and dirt) are okay but it is not to be taken on side roads or rough roads. This vehicle is NOT 4WD! If rain is in the forecast then do not take it off pavement. We are not responsible if it gets stuck. Do not attempt to drive through sand. Local Bureau of Land Management Offices or Visitor Centers will have information on current road conditions and if they are okay for 2WD vehicles - know before you go! This vehicle cannot be taken out of the United States or to festivals. This vehicle takes 87 octane gas or higher. The vehicle is 20 feet long and 9 feet high - you are responsible for knowing this information and must follow posted signs and rules for max vehicle length on roads and max height for tunnels, underpasses and drive-thrus. Dogs are allowed - 1 dog over 40 lbs or 2 dogs under 40 lbs. Sorry, no cats. Before starting a fire outdoors, review Leave No Trace principles. Always check the land manager's current regulations for information on where to build a fire and potential burn bans. All drivers must complete our driver verification process. We ask that you use a spotter if you need to back up this vehicle. No talking/texting on a mobile device while driving. No occupants allowed in towable RVs/trailers while in motion. No climbing on the roof. No towing with this vehicle. Do not leave this vehicle unlocked when unattended. No driving while under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance. No unlawful activity of any kind.

  Where to start??? Erin and Mike are amazing humans and “Poppy” was so much fun for our adventure. Erin and Mike were quick to respond to questions, helped us navigate travel challenges, went above and beyond in so many ways! Didn’t think this rental would end up in creating a new friendship but it did.
