It was an awesome experience renting this RV. The owner was very friendly and helpful. This Rv had plenty of room for our whole family during our vacation. It drives very nice and it’s comfortable and well kept.
Carol and Teri were great to work with. The motorhome worked wonderful for our trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. There was an issue with the onboard generator the day we were picking it up with no time for repair and they made last minute arrangements for a generator for us to take. They checked on us during the trip to make sure everything was OK and if we needed anything. Great trip!
Horrible experience! This RV was not ready for use. They had just taken it out of storage and it was still winterized. They turned it over to us with antifreeze in the lines, the two valves feeding the water heater had not been turned on so there was no hot water. There was plastic cup under sink filled with antifreeze from sink being drained that we found the third day because it kept overspilling. The right brake light wasn't working. The license and registration was expired. And it was NOT CLEAN. The details for the RV stated "All surfaces are cleaned and then disinfected. All linen, towels and rugs are washed. All tanks have been cleaned out. The bathroom and shower are cleaned thoroughly and disinfected." However, none of this was true. Nothing was wiped down or cleaned much less disinfected. The appliances were not clean - sticky food and crumbs all over. The bathroom (especially the toilet) was dirty and had remnants of the previous occupants. The cupboards had their personal items (hair ties, tooth brushes, medications, etc.) I found 1 shoe and some misc. pieces of dirty clothing shoved in with the blankets in the bedroom closet. We were scheduled to pick up the RV at 11am. Tina spent about half an hour doing a walk through of the RV. During the walk through we were told that the RV still had antifreeze in the lines and that we would have to flush the lines. We were not told this until we were already there for pick up. We agreed to flush the lines. The interior walk through was very quick. We did not get to see how dirty it was. The focus was more on the outside. However, we did miss the cut in the tire and the fact that the brake light was out. Tina did start the generator with us for the first time since taking it out of storage. It was very apparent that there had not been an inspection of the RV prior to our arrival. We spent nearly 4 hours cleaning, disinfecting and prepping the RV for use before we even started loading our personal items. This caused a late departure and we missed our first destination on day one. We found water on the bathroom floor twice during our trip and started investigating to find out why. There was a 6" tall plastic cup under the bathroom sink full of water and antifreeze. Not sure why that would be left there to spill unless there was a leak or it was left there when they winterized the RV. We were very lucky that the whole thing hadn't tipped over. During our trip we realized that the license and registration for the RV were expired. Bottom line: This RV was not ready for rental. The owners are not thinking about your experience and are just out to make a buck.
