A forested campground near trout fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The campground is an easy base for a wide range of outdoor pursuits across Chugach National Forest hiking, biking, water sports, hunting and winter activities are all part of the region's appeal, and wildlife such as bears, moose, mountain goats and wolves inhabit the surrounding forests and rivers. Quartz Creek Road continues to Crescent Creek Campground and the six-mile Crescent Creek Trail to Crescent Lake (with a reservable public use cabin), and a salmon-viewing bridge nearby is a good spot from late July through September.
