Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights11 sites open for every nightA forested campground near trout fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
Recreation centers on Summit Lake and the trail system: the lake is stocked with Dolly Varden and Rainbow trout for anglers and offers easy launching for kayaks and canoes from the boat ramp, while the Summit Lake Trail south of the lake links to the Resurrection Pass Trail a 39-mile route that climbs about 2,100 feet and is popular with hikers and bikepackers. In winter the area is used for backcountry skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing; across Chugach National Forest you'll also find opportunities for biking, camping, overnight stays in fire lookouts/cabins, hunting, water sports and other winter sports.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Three visits this year. This visit campground host not present until last morning. Overall still good upkeep; however, this year bathrooms not as up kept and some of the fireplaces need to be emptied. When host is present always pleasant.. ”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (4,071 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
