Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights14 sites open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, and hiking. RV fit varies by site.
Six Mile Creek Campground sits on a finger of the William "Bill" Dannelly Reservoir, part of the Alabama River system that spreads across roughly 27 square miles and more than 500 miles of shoreline through the Black Prairie Belt. The setting alternates between long, shallow creek arms and stands of hardwood and pine on the gently rolling prairie soils; this patchwork of grassland and forest makes the shoreline a productive place for anglers and wildlife.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Beautiful COG CG. Quiet, serene and easy to access. We enjoyed our 1 night stay there.”
“A very quiet campground (we were the only campers). We felt safe. The gal who helped us was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We stayed here and visited the Civil Rights Museum in Selma. ”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (1,300 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
