Days at Buffalo Point are geared to water and trail recreation: paddling ranges from quick rapids to slow pools, anglers find plenty of stretches for casting, and nearby trailheads such as the Indian Rockhouse Trail offer compact hikes among bluffs and springs. The campground's loop layout gives options for quieter family sites or larger group gatherings at the dedicated sites and pavilions, while evenings are often spent around campfires preparing for another day on the river.
