Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights1 site open for every nightA forested campground near hiking. Most campsites have no hookups.
Radium is primarily a river-access campground: anglers and floatboaters use the ramps to launch into the Upper Colorado River SRMA, and the scenery along Trough Road is part of the Colorado Headwaters National Scenic and Historic Byway. Recreational options in the larger Kremmling management area include camping, hiking, horseback riding, hunting and OHV use, but within Radium itself expect river-focused activity, picnicking under the shade structures, and straightforward campsite amenities rather than extensive developed services.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Great camp host , peaceful location , easy to drive to each river takeout . Will be coming back soon.”
“The campground was poorly maintained; we never saw a campground host. No campground map to help us locate our site. When we did find the site, it was over grown with weeds (shoulder height).”
“Great spot for rafting. The facilities and campground are very clean, and the BLM officer was super nice and helpful! Just beware that the trains are very loud at night.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (2,223 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
