Camping at Joe T. Fallini Recreation Site near Challis

Public campground · Challis · 26 campsites

A forested campground near fishing.

About this campground

Mackay Reservoir is the focal point for water-based activity: the campground's boat ramp provides access for jet skiing, water skiing and sailing, and there are additional launches along the reservoir and one downstream of the dam. Fishing is popular here through the warmer months and transitions to ice fishing in late winter, while wildlife viewing from shore or along the interpretive trail is a steady draw.
