Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights44 sites open for every nightA forested campground near hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The landscape here is wide open sagebrush and mowed lawn with very little natural shade, so plan for sun and wind exposure in warmer months. Stone Reservoir is a key focal point for wildlife viewing ducks such as redhead, ring-necked, canvasback and lesser scaup are often seen near the shore, and fall and winter bring geese and other migratory species but note that the reservoir is closed to all watercraft to prevent the spread of invasive species, so boating is not an option.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“The new camp host is incredible. They have implemented improvements to keep the campground green and clean. The campground is definitely making a comeback, and I would recommend it to anyone.”
“The attendant was friendly and is doing a great job maintaining and sprucing up this older camp ground. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again when in the area. ”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (959 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
