Camping at Chemeketan Campground near Stanley

Chemeketan Campground sits at the headwaters of the Salmon River where lodgepole pines thin out against the rugged Sawtooth peaks and the river runs along the campground's edge. The site is small in terms of campsite count there is 1 campsite on record: a single group site that can accommodate up to 150 people and is classified as 1 Both RV Sites & Tent Sites but the Forest Service makes that space available as either a reserved group site or, when not reserved, for individual use on a first-come, first-served basis.
