Camping at Elk Creek Campground (Sawtooth Nf)

Elk Creek Campground sits at the edge of Elk Meadow in a wide valley below the Sawtooth Range, about eight miles west of Stanley along State Highway 21 and then north on Forest Road 892 at milepost 123. The Forest Service lists this site as a single campsite a reservable group site that is actually made up of three smaller camping areas rated for both RV and tent use; when the group site is not reserved those smaller areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
