A forested campground near trout fishing, and hiking. RV fit varies by site.
Kendall Campground sits just below Wolf Creek Dam on the Cumberland River, a short drive south of Jamestown on US Highway 127, and looks out over the wide waters of Lake Cumberland and dense stands of mature hardwoods. The site's setting is quiet and wooded rather than open shoreline; you'll find easy access to a cold-water stream that's regularly stocked with rainbow, brook and brown trout, plus the half-mile Whispering Pines Trail that threads through the campground for a brief, non-strenuous walk.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“We always love going to Kendall. It is a beautiful campground. I do wish the hand dryer in the ladies secondary bathroom could be fixed and the door to the first bathroom stall in the ladies primary bathroom could be fixed.”
“Host very friendly. Everything is clean. Campsite nice.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (45,187 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
