First come, first servedA forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The lake itself is a major draw at roughly 67,000 acres with about 141 miles of shoreline, Lake Winnie is one of Minnesota's premier fisheries, known for walleye, perch and trophy muskie, and boating is a common activity off the campground. Trails for hiking and biking wind around the lake, a picnic area adjoins the campground, and hunting opportunities exist in the surrounding forest.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Beautiful camp sites not right on top of each other. Spotless vault toilets. Quiet with spectacular weather ”
“The campground was very clean and beautiful. Lots of space in each camp site. We had the entire campground to ourselves Monday and Tuesday. The vault toilets were immaculate and smelled good! We were impressed.”
“Camp Host Nicole was great. Camp was clean and restrooms were also. Trail by the lakes edge could use a trim but otherwise it was great”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (1,807 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
