Outlet Channel Day Use sits on the lower side of Arkabutla Dam along the Coldwater River in the rolling hills of northwest Mississippi, a short drive from Memphis. The riverfront pavilion and group shelter sit among shady stands of oak, hickory, beech, sweetgum and birch, and the outlet channel itself is a favored spot for crappie anglers and shore fishing.
