Camping at Quigley Group Use near Helena

Quigley Group Use sits on the high crest of MacDonald Pass at about 6,300 feet, where lodgepole pine and Douglas fir shade a compact, undeveloped clearing right on the Continental Divide. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail passes a few hundred feet from camp (CDNST mile 616) and the surrounding terrain opens into a mix of meadows, timbered slopes and rugged ridgelines that support a wide variety of wildlife deer, elk, moose, black and grizzly bear, gray wolf and mountain lion are all known in the area.
