Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights1 site open for every nightA forested campground near trout fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The campground provides direct access to the recreational variety that characterizes the Bitterroot National Forest. Trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding are nearby, and the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is reachable without a long drive; trails also climb into surrounding peaks if you want more elevation.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Camp was clean and well maintained maintained. ”
“Great little campground. Close to the highway so you get road noise. Clean well maintained ”
“Spring Gulch was clean and the sites had plenty of room. My only disappointment was the highway noise. I didn’t realize how close the highway was and very few trees to block the noise.”

View rentalFor July weekends, book about 138 days ahead. Three in four July Friday and Saturday arrivals were booked later than that, and half were booked 64 days or less before arrival. Past timing is guidance, not a guarantee of what is open now.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| July | 64 days ahead | 138 days ahead | 72 days ahead | 153 days ahead |
| August | 34 days ahead | 131 days ahead | 51 days ahead | 128 days ahead |
Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (906 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
