Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights33 sites open for every nightA forested campground near hiking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
For supplies and activities, historic Lake McDonald Lodge sits about a mile away and provides a camp store, restaurant, gift shop, boat tours and horse rides, plus evening ranger programs on many summer nights an easy walk or short shuttle ride from the campground. From Sprague Creek you can step into Glacier's wider offerings: paddling, boating and swimming on Lake McDonald; hundreds of miles of hiking trails and alpine meadows; and auto touring along the Going-to-the-Sun Road to reach other trailheads and historic chalets.

“A very nice campsite right on the lake. We were in spot 19 next to the bathrooms. The road was a little loud in the evenings and mornings but overall the experience was good. ”
“It was pretty much as we expected. Clean and quiet.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (7,562 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
