The lake is the main draw for many visitors: Sardis is well known among Oklahoma anglers for producing some of the state's largest bass, and it also supports crappie, catfish and walleye. Boating and other water sports jet skiing, canoeing and swimming are popular, and more than 8,000 acres of public land around the lake provide opportunities for wildlife viewing and hunting.
Length limits vary by campsite.

“We loved the site we had. But we love camping at Sardis Lake and try to make it down at least once a year. We love traveling around the area. ”
“We really like this campground and your camp host, Jordan, is the best!!!”
“This is an older campground with water, 30 amp service, central sewer dump, varied parking surfaces and accommodating different lengths of campers . It's a beautiful location and seems to be in a good state of repair. I will choose this campground in the future.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (12,529 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
