Bear Creek Cove Campground sits on the lakeshore of Kaw Lake in north-central Oklahoma, south of Newkirk and a short drive from Ponca City, with Kaw Lake's broad surface (17,000 acres) and 168 miles of shoreline framing the view. The lake's normal elevation is 1,010 feet, and the cove's boat ramp makes it straightforward to put a boat in the water for fishing or cruising.
