Camping at Rocky Point (Ft Gibson) near Wagoner

Public campground · Wagoner · 61 campsites

A forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. RV fit varies by site.

About this campground

Rocky Point sits at the upper end of Fort Gibson Lake where Flat Rock Creek feeds into the main channel, a spot defined by steep, rocky bluffs along the park's eastern edge and thicker timber on the west. A small cove between those two features creates a calm place to moor boats, and the park's designated sandy swim beach gives swimmers a clear shoreline to use.

“The area was clean and shady! The bathroom was kept up very well too. We love coming to Rocky Point. ”

Kim G 5 · Oct 2025 · Recreation.gov

“Our fire pit was on a slope and was not comfortable to sit around and enjoy. The fire pits would be better on flat surfaces.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.

Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (13,607 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
