A forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
What draws most campers here is direct access to nearly 1,100 acres of coastal sand dunes where off-highway vehicle (OHV) use is the main attraction; riders can spend hours looping across the dune field directly from the campground. Beyond the dunes, the adjacent Sand Lake Estuary a roughly 900-acre near-natural estuary provides quieter water-based options such as fishing, crabbing, swimming, and kayaking, plus hiking and wildlife viewing (waterfowl are common).
