Horse Creek Group Campground sits on the banks of Horse Creek on the western slopes of the Cascade Range, shaded by tall Douglas fir and Western red cedar where the creek's clear water eventually joins the McKenzie River. The site functions as a single group unit the official campsite inventory lists one combined RV-and-tent site and the group area is described as accommodating up to 100 campers and roughly 23 vehicles, making it suitable for larger gatherings.
