Camping at Three Creeks Meadow Campground near Sisters

Public campground · Sisters · 9 campsites

A forested campground near trout fishing, and hiking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.

About this campground

Three Creeks Meadow Campground sits just below Tam McArthur Rim a short drive from Three Creeks Lake, an alpine basin lake at about 6,550 feet. The lake itself is a 28-acre, old-growth-fringed pool set in a glacial cirque; its shoreline ranges from gentle sloping banks to a rocky cliff and reaches about 28 feet deep in places.

“Campground hosts this year are doing a fantastic job (last years' were good, too). The place was in good shape & picked up. ”

Brian L 5 · Aug 2025 · Recreation.gov

“Beautiful views, large sites, easy mile to the lake, bugs were not bad considering creek runs right thru the campground. One of my favorites. ”

Darla N 5 · Jul 2025 · Recreation.gov

“Large, level camping spots. Very well maintained grounds and bathrooms. Easy access to trails, rivers, lakes and Sisters. On-site camp hosts were very nice and went out of there way to assist us. The views are amazing. ”

How far ahead to book Three Creeks Meadow Campground

For July weekends, book about 164 days ahead. Three in four July Friday and Saturday arrivals were booked later than that, and half were booked 111 days or less before arrival. Past timing is guidance, not a guarantee of what is open now.

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.

Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (1,024 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
