Welcome to our Taxa Cricket also known as “Casa de Grillo”. This 2022 Cricket is the perfect camping companion for solo travelers, couples, or small families. At just 1800 lbs. dry weight and 15’ in length it makes towing easy for smaller vehicles. Casa de Grillo includes a full-sized bed which can be transformed into a small dining area. It also has two sleeping berths for children or small adults. The kitchen is simple to set up and comprises of a two-burner stove and sink. Dometic portable refrigerator can be included upon request for an added fee. Our Cricket features interior and exterior lighting, AC and DC outlets (AC only when plugged into power), Thule 6’ awning, and much more. You will need a 2” trailer hitch ball and a 7-pin electrical connector to tow this camper. Recommendations Casa de Grillo is perfect for short or long term camping. It is small enough for any campsite and easy to maneuver in and out of sites. Great campgrounds in the area include: Dixon's Campground (Cape Neddick, ME), Pinederosa (Wells, ME), White Lake State Park (Tamworth, NH). We have also taken the Cricket to Gilford for overnight camping and a concert. Other things to note Sleeping berths are for children or small adults only (max weight 130 lbs).   We absolutely loved the whole experience renting the Cricket from Margaret! From pick up to drop off she thinks of every detail to help make the rental easy and fun. The cricket was the perfect size for our family of 3 and we'd definitely rent it again!

  We had a great experience trying out a towable camper that our van would be able to handle when we decide to buy one. This one was a pleasure to use in the White Mountain National Forest over a pretty wet couple of days. Glad that we could join our friends without the need to set up and take down our old tent in those conditions. Margaret is a lovely host and did a great job getting us familiar with the Cricket.

  We rented Craig’s Cricket to take to a show at the Bank of NH Pavilion. Craig is incredibly responsive and thorough. The trailer was spotless and Craig gave a fantastic walkthrough of all the features and “how to” items before our departure.
