Camping at Bandy Creek near Oneida

Public campground · Oneida · 142 campsites · 2 group

A forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. RV fit varies by site.

About this campground

Bandy Creek is also a convenient base for exploring the wider recreation area's sandstone gorges, bluffs and historic places: miles of trails in Big South Fork support hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, and the park as a whole offers climbing, boating, hunting, wildlife viewing and cultural sites such as the reconstructed Blue Heron Mine about 20 miles from the campground. gov before you go; note that site types and hookups mean Bandy Creek accommodates everything from tent campers seeking shaded sites to RVs needing electrical service.

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.

Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (40,487 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
