Camping at 277 North Group Campground near Del Rio

277 North Group Campground sits inside Amistad National Recreation Area along the United States Mexico border, the broad reservoir formed in 1969 where the Rio Grande, Devils, and Pecos Rivers meet. The recreation area spreads across more than 57,000 acres of federally owned land that alternates between rugged canyon walls, riparian corridors and desert plant communities; visitors come for the reservoir's clear stretches and springs, well-regarded bass fishing, and a number of rock-art and archaeological sites scattered through the canyons.
