Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights4 sites open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The setting is strongly recreational: Grapevine Lake covers roughly 7,276 acres with about 60 miles of rolling shoreline and draws more than 2 million visitors a year, so activities spill naturally out of the campground. Murrell Park is used for picnicking, shoreline and boat fishing (expect crappie, catfish and bass), boating and water sports, and access to the well-known Northshore Trail for hiking and mountain biking.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Perfect location and spread out camp sites. Only reason didn’t get 5 stars was toilets. They were filthy and covered with spider weds. Considering there are only two at the whole campsite, more regular cleaning should be conducted. ”
“I did not get to use my reservation. As soon as I made reservation my grandson was taken to hospital so I had to go there. So no true rating for this visit.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (10,892 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
