Camping at Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground near Evanston

Public campground · Evanston · 4 campsites · 3 group

A forested campground near fishing, and hiking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.

About this campground

Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground sits at about 9,000 feet in the northeastern corner of Utah, roughly between Flaming Gorge and Evanston, Wyoming, and serves as a direct launch point for boating and fishing on Hoop Lake as well as a gateway to the High Uinta Wilderness. The small, timbered site looks across the water and provides anglers and paddlers with ready lake access, while trail users will find the Hoop Lake trailhead and many routes for day hikes or horseback rides nearby; Beaver Meadow Reservoir is also close by for more fishing.
