The location is a strong base for mountain biking, hiking, panoramic drives and backcountry four-wheel-drive trips: Gemini Bridges Road, the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point State Park and Arches National Park are all within easy reach, and the Mineral Bottom Green River boat ramp is nearby for river access. Groups commonly use Lone Mesa before and after multi-day trips on the White Rim Trail.

“Nice group site. Good views. Pretty exposed though and not much happening up here. Quiet though. ”
“Good spot with good views. Bathrooms are maintained and the dumpster is great so you don’t have to haul out trash. Only complaint is price. Posted sign shows 1 night stays at $50 per night, and we paid much more than that by booking with recreation.gov. Kinda disappointing ”
