A forested campground near hiking, and mountain biking.
Rock Canyon Campground sits at about 6,500 feet on Squaw Peak Road, high above Utah Valley with dense stands of maple, scrub oak and fir that shade grassy meadows punctuated by wildflowers. The campground is the trailhead for the Rock Canyon Trail and is immediately adjacent to access for the Squaw Peak Trail to the summit, so hiking and mountain biking are the most immediate draws; Squaw Peak Road itself is open to mountain biking.

“The camp site was great. We stayed for 3 days and loved the trails and hikes. If it wasn't for the road leading in/out, this would be a perfect spot to go back to again and again.”
