The campground puts you in the middle of roughly 15,000 acres of Piedmont forest and the Quantico Creek watershed, with rolling hills, rocky outcrops, winding creeks and a handful of man-made lakes to explore. Prince William Forest Park offers about 37 miles of foot trails for hikers, 21 miles of paved roads (including the 12-mile Scenic Drive) and a 3-mile family paved bike lane that connects toward Oak Ridge campground; mountain bikers can use about 10 miles of gravel fire roads.
