Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights1 site open for every nightA forested campground near trout fishing, and hiking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The Little White Salmon is the immediate draw here for anglers and waders; the river holds rainbow and brook trout and is shallow enough in many places for easy wading and cooling off. Beyond the creek, Moss Creek makes a practical base for exploring the eastern reaches of Gifford Pinchot and the nearby Columbia River Gorge Mount Adams country with its mix of old- and second-growth forest, meadows and lakes is within reach for day hikes, wildlife viewing and other forest activities.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Beautiful campground! Very refreshing, clean and the host was very friendly and accommodating.i only stayed one night but will be back soon. I absolutely loved Moss creek campground ”
“It was a lovely campsite, easy to navigate and you could get to the creek which was lovely. We were at campsite 4 which was a little noisy due to being right next to the road and the toilets (with a door that slammed after each guest), but it was still worth visiting!”
“Beautiful as always. The kids had a blast in the river. Camp host was a really nice guy. Can’t wait to come back!”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (2,566 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
