Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights43 sites open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, and hiking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
Marcus Island Campground sits at the water's edge of Lake Roosevelt where the upper Columbia River's stony walls sculpted by ice age floods frame a pocket of evergreen forest. In summer the campground has shoreline on three sides, creating close, shady access to the lake; campers spread out on quiet bays for swimming, shore fishing, or launching small boats when water levels permit.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“We stayed in mid-October on two weekdays. We were the only campers in the campground. Absolutely stunning with several lakefront sites. Toilets and sites were well maintained and clean. Cell signal was a steady two bars. ”
“They're fairly well kept up but most sites are way too close together! If I could get one of the end spots I would rate it Very Good. Tents are almost touching with the other campsites... Invite a friend if you you are concerned...”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (2,827 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
