Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights4 sites open for every nightA forested campground near trout fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
Bonaparte Lake Campground sits on the southern edge of Bonaparte Lake, about 30 miles east of Tonasket off State Route 20 via the Bonaparte Recreation Area road (Okanogan County Road 4953). The campground occupies a mixed stand of ponderosa pine and Douglas fir at roughly 3,600 feet, with Bonaparte, Spur and Cumberland Mountains rising around the water; mule deer, elk, moose and the occasional black bear are seen here, and the lake attracts a variety of waterfowl including the rare northern loon.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“The lake and surroundings are just as beautiful as we remember from 13 years ago. ”
“Super nice camp host. Our group had the whole loop to ourselves. Was a perfect place. Something to do for everyone. ”
“Great place to camp. We had a good amount of space at our campsite. Easy water access for small boats or paddle boards. Staff was on top of changes in reservations and updated signs daily.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (2,105 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
