Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights1 site open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The campground's location makes it a good base for a wide range of outdoor activities. Lynx Lake, just a short walk north, is a 55-acre hub for fishing, small-boat recreation and loop trails; Thumb Butte, with a summit near 6,515 feet, provides close-by hiking, jog routes and mountain-bike access (rock climbing is allowed seasonally, with closures for peregrine falcon nesting).

Length limits vary by campsite.

“This was our first visit here and we loved it! The grounds and facilities were clean. The camps were spaced far enough away so you couldn't see and barely hear neighbors. We loved the picnic table and firepits too! We will definitely be back!”
“Super clean restrooms, tall trees, private large flat camp sites (#21 is my favorite for 20ft trailer), great camp hosts. Nearby Watson Lake for kayaking and canoeing while Lynx Lake is low for dam repair. ”
“ A great place to say price is reasonable. The lake was a little lower this year. Hopefully it’ll be full next year. Lots of space nicely. We have stayed there six or seven times. ”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (9,163 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
