Hidden View Campground sits on the shore of Hensley Lake in the lower Sierra Nevada foothills about 50 miles north of Fresno, a roughly one-hour drive along state highways that also connects to Madera and routes toward Yosemite. The lake itself made when Hidden Dam was built on the Fresno River covers about 1,500 acres and provides more than 20 miles of shoreline, producing a mix of open water and sheltered coves.
