Small campground with no hookups. Nice and clean vault toilet house. Campground host was very rude. I pulled my van to the side of vault toilets in a grassy area with no signs, so I could fill my water tank and be out of the road. I was startled when he appeared asking what I was doing. I explained and his response was it's a good thing you didn't fall in the septic tank and I needed to move. He stood and watched me struggle to move my van to a place out of the road, but close enough for the hose to reach. I didn't expect him to help, but he could have been much nicer about the septic tank. Put up signs!

We love Tallulah River Campground. It’s one of our favorite spots to visit. Unfortunately, we were running late that evening. And upon our arrival around 9 PM someone was squatting in our spot. We had to make them leave. Which took 30 minutes for them to pack up. If you’re going to require a reservation somebody needs to validate that the people with the reservations get the spots.

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.

Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (2,155 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
