Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights66 sites open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, and hiking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The riverfront setting is the campground's strong suit for active families and anglers: there's a boat ramp on site and plenty of easy water access for launching kayaks or casting from the bank, with coho salmon and panfish among the fishing opportunities. Hikers and beachgoers can reach expansive coastal beaches and explore the dune formations that are part of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area the largest coastal dune system in North America while birdwatchers can expect shorebirds and waterfowl and the occasional bald eagle; Roosevelt elk are also known to roam in the broader area.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Tyee is great for launching kayaks to paddle the Siltcoos river there. Otherwise it's pretty minimal for a campground. Bring your own water. ”
“a bit close to Hwy 1 but otherwise a great campground”
“This our favorite place to camp at the coast”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (2,305 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
