The Fresaire rooftop unit cools the van. This is an evaporative cooling unit that does not work well in very high humidity but will still cool a little. Heat: external propane heater with thermostat.   The best to describe this rental is “thoughtfulness”. There are many details in the van that are carefully thought out. The spice rack holder; the fresh ground coffee; the small container of sugar; the complete silverware, including plastic ones for a picnic. It was remarkably clean and neat.   AMAZING RENTAL EXPERIENCE! My son (8) and I had such a wonderful time renting this Sprinter for our camping vacation to Oshkosh's annual fly-in.
