The campground puts you close to the 11-mile Cades Cove Loop Road famous for wildlife viewing and access to over 90 preserved log buildings, historic churches and mills and to hiking that ranges from short interpretive walks to the roughly 5-mile round-trip trail to Abram Falls.

“Awesome place to camp! Abrams falls was a beautiful hike!”
“We have stayed here before and love it. It's very clean and everyone is friendly. We like to ride our bikes here. Our site was next to the river which we enjoyed. The spaces are big and somewhat private. We will stay again if traveling in that area.”
“The sites were beautiful, the fall colors gorgeous, and the rangers most helpful with us and kind and courteous to all checking in. A great experience at Cades Cove. We will return.”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (106,914 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
