Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights4 sites open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Most campsites have no hookups, and RV fit varies by site.
The riverfront setting is framed by cottonwoods and willows, and wildlife such as deer and the occasional moose may wander through the loops; the South Fork itself is the campground's main draw for fishing and tubing, and several hiking and mountain biking routes begin nearby. Beyond the campground, Ogden Valley and the broader Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest offer auto touring, boating, horseback and off-highway vehicle trails, and easy day trips to Pineview Reservoir for swimming and boating or Causey Reservoir for canoeing and trail access; Highway 39 continues toward Monte Cristo Summit for scenic drives and more trailheads.

Length limits vary by campsite.

“Loved it, the campsite was nice and clean. The scenery was breathtaking ”
“We've camped in the same site in the past, it's a great spot next to the river. The campground is nice. A disappointment was that when we arrived the concrete pad had not been swept and was full of dirt, leaves and twigs. It was so bad we swept it ourselves”

Months with fewer than 30 reservations of that kind are left blank. Sites where nearly every booking was made the day of arrival (pay on arrival) are left out. Closed seasons, windows not yet released for booking, and currently unavailable nights are separate from this history.
Based on Recreation.gov reservations, FY2015–2025 (7,485 reservations in the years scored). Counts reservations made, not nights actually camped: cancellations aren't in the data, and nights a site was closed count as not booked. FY2020–21 (COVID) are left out of the scores.
