Available Nov 13–15 · 2 nights1 site open for every nightA forested campground near fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.
Pelican Lake Campground sits at about 4,800 feet on UT-88 roughly 25 miles southwest of Vernal, inside the broader Ouray Valley Recreation Area that follows the Green River between Vernal and Roosevelt. The lake is the campground's main draw: anglers still come for bluegill and largemouth bass, a fishery with a long local reputation, and birders find spring mornings full of waterfowl tending their young.
