Provider's site description, as published: ****READ BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING. USE YOUR CORRECT EMAIL & CHECK FOR INSTRUCTIONS AFTER BOOKING. ENSURE YOUR GUEST COUNT IS CORRECT & INCLUDES KIDS 2+.**** The lean-to is right on the river and tucked away in the trees. Enclosed on three sides, this 8’x16′ lean-to can sleep up to 4 people on 2 king-size built-in raised wooden platforms. A bug screen has been added to the entry for your comfort. Site contains your own private fire pit, picnic table, and has private access to the river. Wifi is generally strong at the lean-to. Bathhouse includes mens and womens room, hot showers and a dishwashing sink which is a short walk away from the Lean-To (~85 feet away). There's outlets at the bathhouse for a phone charge plus speedy wifi is available around the bathhouse. There's decent phone service around the campground, too. Note: you are required to bring your own bedding (ie. sleeping bags, air mattress, pillows, blankets, etc) On the property there’s hiking trails across the river, swimming/fishing in the river, a waterfall to enjoy a soak in, nearby kayaking/tubing, and a 2 minute drive to Smugglers Notch. The Long Trail can be accessed at several places close to the campground, including hikes to the top of nearby Mt. Mansfield, the highest point in Vermont. Horseback riding, fishing, bicycling, and canoe/kayak outings on the Lamoille River are all available locally, along with many great restaurants and bakeries. Please purchase firewood on-site, it's available 24/7. No big RV motorhomes are allowed here - Only camper vans, popups, and small trailers (No hookups). All reservations are final. We do not permit refunds due to weather, emergencies, or change in plans. Email [email protected] with any questions and we'll respond faster than you can say blueberry pancakes (ok not that fast). 10% off on all BRC merch on our website! Once you make a reservation, we will email you a promo code.
How booking and saving work
You finish booking on the park's reservation website (campspot.com). Adding a site to your trip saves it, with your dates, so you can compare and come back; it doesn't reserve anything. Book the campsite, RV and activities separately with each provider.
Does a length limit mean my RV fits?
No. It means your RV is within the listed length limit. Slide-out room, turning clearance and overhanging trees aren't published; ask the park if you're close to the limit.
