ENSURE YOUR GUEST COUNT IS CORRECT & INCLUDES KIDS 2+.**** The Rustic Cabin is right on the river and tucked away in the trees. 12’x16′ space with 2nd story sleeping loft, sleeps up to 4 people. Inside is lightly decorated and includes a clean queen-size mattress on a bed frame upstairs, and downstairs there's a futon (couch that can turn into a bed), table, chairs, and small kitchenette. The cabin has fast wifi and power with electrical outlets both upstairs and downstairs. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, electric kettle, and small counter space. Outside you are immersed in a beautiful river view with your own private fire pit, picnic table, and private access to the river. There is NO water in the cabin, however the bathhouse is a short walk away (~75 feet) which includes mens and womens room, hot showers, and dish washing sink. NOTE: You are required to bring your own bedding and kitchen supplies, such as blankets, sheets, towels, forks, plates, cups, pots, pans, etc. Also please note you are responsible for cleaning the cabin thoroughly before you checkout. We sincerely appreciate this. On the property there’s hiking trails across the river, swimming/fishing in the river, a beautiful waterfall to enjoy a soak in, nearby kayaking/tubing, and a 2 minute drive to Smugglers Notch. The Long Trail can be accessed at several places close to the campground, including hikes to the top of nearby Mt. Mansfield, the highest point in Vermont. Horseback riding, fishing, bicycling, and canoe/kayak outings on the Lamoille River are all available locally, along with many great restaurants and bakeries. Please purchase firewood at shed on lawn area, available 24/7. It is $10/wagonfill and you pay by Venmo, credit card, or cash. All reservations are final. We do not permit refunds due to weather, emergencies, or change in plans.
